Relaxing at Home

We had a quiet week this week.  Brandon worked a lot, so Kylie and I weren't able to get out of the house much... or, I should say, out of the neighborhood.  We had fun at home and played a lot in Kylie's kiddie pool.

We did take her to our clubhouse pool this week, and she got to try out the new floatie device we got her.  She absolutely loved it and was so happy to be in a position  where she wasn't being held by us.  It was fun to watch her kick her legs and arms and try to swim by herself.  I wish I took some pictures because she was just so happy the entire time, even though it was kind of cold.  Kylie and I are going to have to do a lot of swimming together this summer!

Sunday was an interesting day.  Normally Kylie is ecstatic to go to nursery and does just fine.  This week, though, she would let us go, and when we finally did manage to sneak out we could hear her crying for five minutes.  Twenty minutes later she was returned to us with a messy diaper, and when I tried to return her she just wouldn't have any of it.  I think she was just really tired that day, because she was very clingy. I took her to Relief Society with me, and that lasted about five minutes and we spent the rest of the time running about in the halls and playing with the drinking fountain.  Kylie likes to dip her pacifier into the water and drink the water that way. It's pretty funny to watch.

Monday was Memorial day, and we were able to go to my Grandparents graves and leave some flowers.  We got Kylie a balloon, because she loves them and never gets them.  She wouldn't let us tie it to her wrist though, and insisted on holding it.  So we decided to tie it to the flowers because it was windy, and as soon as Kylie went to hug it, the balloon popped.  It was hilarious because Kylie had no idea what happened  and kept looking at the sky wondering where it had gone.
