Cooped Up Inside Again

We are just itching for it to spring already!  We seem to be alternating warm and cold weeks.  This week was cold.  Very cold!  Cold enough to snow!  It didn't last long, but it was still surprising to see such large flakes falling from the sky.  Kylie liked watching the snow fall.

                                   

One day while cooking I wore my apron (I always forget to wear it), and Kylie was so interested in it that after I was done she wore it around the house for awhile.  I need to make her an apron so we can bake together!

Kylie is always finding new things to play with, from kitchen utensils to my mittens.  I was very surprised to find that she could put them both on without any help!

Something else she always loves to play with are shoes.  She loves shoes so much!  When she gets a new pair she loves to wear them all the time.  This week, though, she got a hold of my tall sandals!  I guess she is practicing for high heels early!

                                     

Kylie is getting better with the cat now.  She will pet him and brush him and hit him very softly with her toys.  Only rarely now does she really whack him hard.  She still likes to drag him around by his tail, though.  I think Charlie is warming up to her, too, because when she points at him he will meow, a trick he hasn't done for her before now!
