Spring is in the Air!

This week was a very fun week.  The weather started to warm up finally so we were able to go outside and play a lot.  On Valentine's Day we decided to take Kylie up to Pioneer Park so she could run around on the red rock.  She had an absolute blast!  She just loved climbing up the rocks and going higher.  

Unfortunately Kylie has no sense of endangerment, and she would go near the edges with no fear at all.  Thankfully one of us was always right next to her!

Kylie sat at this hole for over ten minutes!  She had too much fun looking out at us.

We also got her a few things for Valentine's Day.  The cute little stuffed animal I liked of course she didn't touch.  But she loved this little candy wand filled with Mike and Ikes.  She carried it around for hours, and then when I finally broke it open and she saw that she could eat it she was beyond happy.  It was hilarious!

I have noticed Kylie doing a few new things this week.  A game she always likes to play is lining up all her little animals on the windowsill.  Now, though, after she puts them all up, she faces them all looking out the window.  Then, of course, she tears them all down!

Kylie is also stacking blocks more during her playtime, and thanks to Brandon has learned how to work a Pez dispenser.

                                     

She likes to play in water, too.  She will stand next to the sink and play with the water, and has also learned how the plug in the bathroom sink works, so when she is brushing her teeth she is filling up the sink and draining it.  

And of course, anything that makes noise is the best toy ever.  In an attempt to stay away from technology, I resort to almost anything.  One day, we played the "drums" for quite a while.  

I also got the funniest video of a face she makes when I try to feed her peanut butter and jelly.  She hasn't even tried a bite!  The smears on her face are from failed attempts to sneak it in her open mouth.
