Adorableness is Hard to Resist

The only reason I took pictures of Kylie this week was because she looked so cute I couldn't resist!  Although, it doesn't take much for me to fawn over my adorable little girl!

One of Kylie's favorite things to play with is her play tent.  Sometimes she just runs in and out of it, or plays hide and seek in it, or even just chills in there with a book.  She especially loves it when Brandon or I squish in there with her!

Something I realized recently that I need to get Kylie more of:  jewelry!  She has been taking my necklaces and wearing them all the time, as well as wearing some of her toys as bracelets.  Time to find some cute kids jewelry for her!

The past few months of my playing with crayons with her is paying off!  Now, instead of mostly eating them and doing a little coloring, she is coloring a lot more!  I gave her a notebook and she just flips pages and scribbles a bit on a page and then flips to a new page.  Then, when she is bored with that she eats the crayon.

This weekend we took Kylie to a fun pet shop here in town that has puppies, birds, fish, reptiles, mice and rats.  Kylie was enthralled with everything, especially the birds and mice.  She basically ran around the store twenty times just looking at everything and getting way excited.  She also really liked the bird toys for some reason.  Afterwards we went to Iceburg and got shakes and fries.  We let her sit on the bench with us and she was so cute because after every lick of her ice cream cone she would take a napkin and dab her face with it!

Kylie is absolutely loving nursery.  When we dropped her off this past Sunday we were one of the first ones there, so while we were waiting for the adults in charge we watched as she played with every single toy in the room and greeted every kid that came in, all in under 4 minutes.  She was like this little pink tornado going around the room at warp speed.

Waiting to go to church

This past week we have also had a couple playdates so Kylie is learning to play with other kids better.  Or, at least, follow them around and show off what all her toys can do and make sure the kids only play with toys she lets them play with...  She's so funny sometimes!

  1. So fun! I have found that Seagull book is a great place to find cute and affordable little jewelry. I found quite a few sets of things for Carsen's stocking.

  2. Becca what a great mom you are. I love that you find so many things to keep little Kylie busy. She will never be able to say in her life that her mother just did not care. She is so adorable. I can't wait to see you all again soon. Have a happy Birthday tomorrow Becca. Hope you get my card in time.
