This was a busy week for us. Not for Kylie, really, but for me and Brandon. Poor Kylie got carted around on all these errands and she wasn't very happy because all she wanted to do was play. I am to the point that if a shopping trip is going to take longer than 5 minutes, then I am leaving Kylie at home. She is so much happier that way and so am I! Unfortunately, sometimes it doesn't work that way :)
I have decided I am going to have to instigate "technology-free" days around the house. Kylie's favorite form of entertainment is a tablet or a show, and I feel she just isn't getting enough regular play time. It's been really cold this past weekend, so we weren't able to go outside at all for several days, and Kylie has really grown attached to playing on a tablet. The only problem is that I like to be on my computer too! So we will both have to work together and stop dinking around on our electronics for several days a week! (This will be just as hard for me as it will be for Kylie - Brandon is exempt because he kinda needs his computer for work...)
Sometimes Kylie gets onto the camera app of a tablet and just pushes the button constantly. So now I have over fifty pictures of Kylie doing this:
On Saturday we got to go to Kylie's friend Acadia's birthday party. She really liked playing with all their toys and though I tried to get her to eat something healthy, she was determined to eat only licorice and M&M's. Kylie definitely has a mind of her own and does what she wants to do. She is very strong willed! Drawing boundaries makes for some hard lessons for her.
After completely ignoring her sunglasses for months, suddenly Kylie just loves them again. She will wear them forever inside - but never outside!
One of Kylie's favorite things to do right now is twirl. She will spin in a circle for quite a while getting herself so dizzy that she ends up falling over and laughing. It's fun to watch!

Adorable...Oh the fun of the coming up 2's. Hold on tight Becca it could be entertaining and crazy. I can see it would be hard to have to discipline that cute little girl. She is a charmer...
