Merry Christmas!

What a fun week we have had!  At the beginning we were so excited to leave on our trip up north to see family, it seems the days couldn't go by fast enough.  On Thursday we left our nice warm home and traveled through the snow and cold to Provo where it was cold... but there was no snow!  But it still made us very happy that we live down in St. George where we don't have to thaw out every time we come in from outside.

We spent Thursday, Friday, and Saturday with Grandma and Grandpa Hansen.  Kylie had fun with Grandma Tess time for a couple hours on Christmas Eve while the rest of us went ice skating.  She also had a lot of fun playing with Uncle Tommy and Uncle James.  Now that she is finally playful and starting to get a personality, they seem to enjoy her a little bit more :)

Kylie tried on Uncle James' special shooting glasses that he has.  Such a little nerd!

Christmas Eve was so fun.  We opened presents with them around 8 and Kylie just loved all the new things to put into her mouth.  She got so many fun and amazing gifts, including an elephant that is three times her size from Uncle James, a Pooh Bear the same size as her from Uncle Tommy, and lots of cute dresses and toys from Grandma Tess and Grandpa Pete!

We left their house at around 10:30 that night, and already our car was so packed that we couldn't fit anymore into it!  We arrived at Grandma and Gramps Knudsen's house at 11, and Kylie was still awake to open presents with them!  She got even more toys and clothes  from everyone, including a talking rabbit and fun electronic ball to play with.

So, you can see that she had a really long night.... she finally went to bed after midnight, and then woke up at 8 AM.  That is about the latest she will ever sleep in...

We have spent the rest of the weekend visiting great-grandparents and great-aunts and uncles.  She got so many more gifts she's not going to know what to do with them!  But she loves them all - I can safely guarantee that every gift Kylie has gotten has been lovingly slobbered on by her.  Except for maybe the clothes...

We have spent the rest of the week playing with toys and with Grandma Shari and Gramps.  Kylie sure loves all the attention she is getting from every one.  And all of her aunts and uncles just love playing with her! And she had a lot of fun playing in their jumper.

We all had a very merry Christmas and sure enjoyed spending the whole weekend with family!  Everyone has spoiled not just Kylie, but Brandon and me as well!  We are so blessed to have the families that we have!  And our weekend is not over yet!  We still have today to play and then to drive home!

Merry Christmas!  And a Happy New Year!
