Kylie has been amazing with her rolling! That is all she does now. Roll across the living room. Roll in her crib. Roll away from Mommy while she's trying to change a diaper. Man, the strength babies have! It takes a lot of effort to keep her from rolling while I am changing a diaper or putting her clothes on. And when she sees something, she has to have it. She is a sucker for new toys as well. It's like she can't get enough!
Kylie also loves her jumper. She will sit there and jump and jump and jump like crazy. And then when you hold her while she is standing up, she will try to jump some more, making it difficult to keep her in your grasp!
Well, Christmas is up in our house! And I am probably way more excited for it than Kylie is.
Although she does seem to gravitate towards the tree in her rolling excursions...
Charlie, the cat, will randomly come and lay near Kylie still, hoping for some attention from us. What he hasn't figured out yet is that she rolls. So she will try rolling over him, and then discover that he is there and then start playing with him. She likes to reach for his head and tail - two places the cat does not enjoy. So the cat will stretch as far as he can to avoid Kylie's reach, but if she grabs a hold of him he will endure until she finds something else to entertain herself with and then move out of her way. I am sure much more kitty torture is in store for him as Kylie gets older!
So, I have officially moved Kylie to her crib at nights! Well, most of the night. She still wakes up several times a night, and in the mornings she is wide awake and ready to play at 5 or 6 AM and I am definitely NOT, so I have discovered that if she cuddles with me in bed she will sleep soundly for another 2 to 3 hours (which I greatly appreciate!).
