We are continuing the food exploration. I have stopped the rice cereal for now and am currently looking into other options for starting her on food here in the next month. But until then we are still giving her tiny tastes of random foods just for the facial expressions! I gave her a pickle the other day, and oddly enough she liked it, and kept coming back for more! She always likes to have her own carrot or celery stick to gnaw on.
Kylie also looooves to bounce, as I have mentioned before. As per Gramps request, I taped her in her bouncer going crazy...
One thing I wish is that she would pick her schedule and then stick to it. We have a pretty routine day, but the past few weeks bedtime has been hectic. There have been nights where she stays up until ten with me and Brandon, and then other nights where she has stayed up until 2 or 3 in the morning. Those nights are awful because she is so tired, but every time I put her down she wakes up screaming and can't be consoled for at least 10 minutes. If I could stay up all night and just hold her while she sleeps, I would. Unfortunately, I need my beauty rest too. So we tried going back to her cradle at nights (even though she slept 3 days straight in her crib just fine), and things seem to have gotten better, minus the fact that she is still preferring the later bedtime (10 PM). Plus she is waking up every hour to two hours for feeding. *Exhaustion* Must be a growth spurt...
Regardless, we love our baby girl and we will suffer through the bad times because just to see one smile on her face makes everything worth it!
Haha I like the last picture the best. Maybe when she grows up I will only show her this picture and convince her she is an alien...
