We didn't do anything terribly exciting this week. Mainly just our usual walks and entertainment indoors. Lately Kylie has been so funny in the expressions she gives me. She has got this great one where she just looks at me with her eyebrows raised and every time she gives me that look I just bust up laughing.
For some reason this week, Kylie has been ignoring her books, and just wanting to play with "grown up" books. She will carry one around and pretend to read it all the time. Such a little weirdo.
Kylie is also a great little assistant. She loves throwing things away for us, and sometimes we play a little game where I ask for something that is on the floor, and she has no idea what it is, but brings me everything in the general vicinity of where I am pointing except for the thing I am asking for. She also loves to help me cook. Especially if it involves eggs. She is the unofficial egg handler and hands them to me from the carton. She helped me make pumpkin snickerdoodle cookies this week and she had so much fun mixing the dough.
This weekend Kylie and Brandon had a lot of Daddy-Daughter time as I was crazy busy. I had craft night with the Relief Society on Friday night, then Saturday morning I had Cub Scout day camp, and on Sunday they went out and played for an hour while I cooked dinner. They are so cute together. Kylie sure loves her daddy!
Kylie is still torturing the cat, but the silly cat still won't run and hide (though there aren't many places he can really hide from her anyway). Luckily it isn't as bad as it has been, and I have been trying to show her how to gently pet him and always impede her when she is chasing him around. Sometimes, though, she actually plays with the cat in a way that doesn't involve crushing him with her weight, like spinning him on a chair. She was laughing hysterically as she did this, and the cat seemed to enjoy it as well. But of course as soon as I brought out the camera she stopped with her cute hysterical laughter.
I loved talking with you all on Skype. Wow I am noticing a big change in her getting more mature. I loved the picture of her helping you make cookies.
