One of Kylie's favorite things to do every day (sometimes multiple times a day...) is give the kitty his treats. She's been doing this for a while now, and it seems that she tries out different ways every week. Last week she just enjoyed how the cat would follow her around and not even give him any treats. This week all Kylie would do is ride her bike. Back and forth all day long. So feeding the cat his treats is more fun now that she totes them along in her bike, and she actually gives him one every time she turns around. It's pretty funny and this treat-giving process can last up to 30 minutes. I usually have to step in and take the treat bag away. Our cat is big enough as it is :)
As you may know, our cat is trained to do a few tricks. He meows on command, and he will even meow for Kylie now too. Then, the other day, I showed her the cats other trick: shaking your hand. Of course she goes crazy for it and makes him do it all the time now. Only she doesn't wait for him to put his paw in her hand, she just grabs it.
Kylie is also liking her Playdoh now, too. Basically she gets it out of its container, squishes it, and puts it back in. She just loves it when Brandon or I mold it into an animal or shape. Then she will actually play with it.
We actually got some decent rain this week, which gave us an opportune time to show Kylie how her umbrella works. She likes carrying it around the house already, but it is always so exciting to her to find out something new. Plus she loves the rain. It was cold from the wind, but she still wouldn't come inside. Kylie could live outdoors and be the happiest kid alive.
Unfortunately, our week did not end well. Kylie has been sick since Sunday afternoon. The poor thing has a case of the squirts which quickly gave her a bad rash which just makes everything horrible. I feel so bad because she is miserable and just wants to play and have a good time but can't. Hopefully this doesn't last much longer!
It is so precious the way she takes care of the cat. She will be a great big sister. She is so adorable!
