This week we got a little break in between visiting with family before we left on a trip to up north! We left Friday morning, and Kylie only slept for about an hour and a half in the car. Luckily we had one of her favorite movies to watch (Toy Story 3), and we took a run-around-in-the-grass break at Nephi.
It seems from the moment we arrived we were busy. Friday night we took everyone to Tucano's for Brandon's birthday dinner. And by everyone, I mean his whole family and my whole family! It was a lot of fun, and Grandpa Pete even took a few pictures!
We also visited the Clark Planetarium afterwards. Kylie, of course, loved trying to get into every exhibit and touch everything.
Saturday was a busy family day. Lots of playing outside and avoiding naps. Kylie loves playing outside so much, and ever since we have been up north all she wants to do is basically live out there. We have ended up with a pretty bad sunburn because of this...
Sunday was the big day that we came up here for: Aunt Chantel's Homecoming, and Aunt Kendra's Farewell. Kylie was fairly good in church, and even Aunt Kelsey got to speak with the other two. Afterwards was a big family party to celebrate (and to celebrate Brandon's birthday, too!), where Kylie of course just had a blast playing outside.
We had been spending our nights with Grandma Tess and Grandpa Pete, and our days with the Knudsens so far, so on Monday we spent it with the Hansens. We did a little shopping and some more outdoor playing (though not as much as Kylie would have liked because of her sunburn), and just had a nice day overall.
We were originally planning on leaving Monday back home, but Saturday morning Brandon's Granny died, so we are unexpectedly staying another week so we can attend the funeral. Kylie of course loves playing at her Grandma's houses, so this won't be a big deal to her. I was also really awful and didn't take any pictures, so thanks to Grandpa Pete for being an awesome photographer!!
