Sick as a Dog

I honestly don't remember half of this week.  First, Kylie got sick on Monday, and then I got sick Wednesday, and the rest of the week was spent recovering for both of us.  Not very fun at all!  Luckily it wasn't too bad, just a fever and head cold.  Kylie's fever got pretty bad Tuesday night and she didn't sleep very well, but she pulled through!

Even though she was sick for most of the week, Kylie was still able to be her usual restless self.  We weren't able to go outside a lot until the weekend, so during the week we had a fun time trying to entertain ourselves inside with a bunch of Kleenex and lazing about (at least on my part).  At least Kylie has tons of toys to play with!

And even though she was sick, that didn't stop her from being the little monkey that she is and climbing up all over everything.  Like my desk, where she sat for a while just chowing down on my M&M's.  Sometimes you just have to give in :)

By Saturday Kylie was just itching to go out and play, and though I wasn't yet up to it, we managed to go do some activities outside.  It was warm enough that we finally got to set up her little pool in the driveway, and she had lots of fun playing in the water.

Sunday was a little breezy, but after conference was over we made it to the park to play.  Kylie loves being outside so much.  She literally has a fit when it's time to go inside!
