The Lull of Winter

A cold front blew in this past week.  Kylie and I did not get to go outside too much, but that didn't stop her from entertaining herself inside.  As always, she loves to climb up on things - the kitchen table being her favorite.  I try to keep it clear so when she gets up there and sees nothing interesting, but apparently just getting up there is exciting enough.

                                       

As you can see from the beginning of the movie she just loves to scream right now.  Not because she is upset or anything, it's because she gets so excited and she finds it a form of play.  A very annoying form of play.  We try to discourage it though, by completely ignoring her when she starts screaming, and only give her attention and love when she is talking with an inside voice.  Hopefully... this will work...

                                         

Something else Kylie loves to do is put on our shoes.  She can get Brandon's on, but they are so big that she can't walk effectively in them.  When she gets my shoes on, though, she can walk fairly well.  It is so funny to see her clump around and be so happy in them.
