Playing Hard

Well, Christmas is officially down in our house!  That leaves a lot of room for playing with all our Christmas toys!  Kylie is just so happy to be home.  We were gone just long enough to make all her old habits feel new and exciting again.  Her old toys are interesting, the love sac is interesting, and of course her new toys are interesting as well.  We are also able to go outside a bit more now, too.  It is still cold here, but it's still just jacket weather which is nice.

Since our first night back Kylie has slipped back into the groove of things.  She's been going to bed between 7:30 and 8:30 and sleeping all through the night.  It's so nice, because I still haven't adjusted to going to sleep earlier like I used to do - now I am continually staying up until midnight.

On Sunday Kylie got to officially go to nursery.  She did just fine until we decided to poke our heads in at the break.  Mistake.  I ended up taking her to Relief Society with me, and when she started running around the room I knew she was ready to go back to nursery.  I think she will do fine in there as long as we stop worrying about her and checking up on her!

Uncle James also stopped by to visit on Sunday on his way back to California.  Kylie was so excited to see him and was so playful around him.  She would even climb up on the couch and sit by him!

Later, though, when I wanted to get a nice picture of them together, Kylie wouldn't stand for Uncle James to hold her.  The most she would let him do is touch her forehead.  We loved having him visit with us!  And Kylie especially loves visitors!  She is getting to be the little entertainer.

Kylie is getting to be so goofy.  She will play with the most random things (like a Styrofoam insert, below), make some of the funniest noises, and when she jabbers I just laugh my head off.  I love having our days together again, just me and her.  She is a handful and a little tornado, but she is hilarious and has such a spunky personality!
