Play, Play, and More Play

I feel like this week we really haven't done anything exciting.  All we did was play.  Kylie is starting to pay more attention to her toys and what they do (other than they taste good).  She is slowly starting to amuse herself more and more, but she especially enjoys it when we play with her.

Right now this shape barn is her favorite toy.  She is figuring out how to move and manipulate the toys into their respective slots.  She hasn't quite got the hang of it, but it still occupies her for at least 15 minutes at a time...

Kylie also likes to wear her necklaces.  She likes me to put them on her, mostly so she can take them off.  Over and over again.  Sigh.

The days are started to get cool down here now, so when we go out in the morning we have to wear jackets and pants.  Kylie still loves to go outside, no matter the weather.  She can spend a whole hour just walking around the block and being fascinated by every rock, plant, and person that walks by.  We don't really take stroller walks anymore because she just loves to explore the world, hands on.

I find it amusing that this Bumbo chair that Brandon really wanted for Kylie never really got much use when she needed the help sitting up, but now that she can get in and out of it by herself, she always uses it.  She doesn't sit long in it, with her energy, but she likes to sit, stand, sit, stand and use it and a step stool to get onto the couch.

And we will leave you this week with a face expressing the excitement we all feel at having visitors for a few days this next coming week.  We can hardly wait to have more people to play with!
