Fall Break!

Well, really we don't get a fall break, but everyone else does!!  This weekend was filled with lots of visitors and lots of fun!!

Thursday morning arrived and so did Grandma Shari, Aunt Kelsey, Uncle Dallan and Uncle Jordan.  Kylie warmed up very quick and made Grandma Shari so happy when Kylie reached out to her to be held.  Kylie was so excited to have so many people to play with and she is at a great age and so playful!  It was nice for me, because I could just sit back and enjoy myself while everyone else entertained her for once!

Reaching for Grandma Shari

Thursday was just a get settled day.  We had fun playing at their hotel room, and Kylie just had fun exploring and playing with everyone and getting into messes.  Unfortunately, Kylie has an early bedtime and she won't fall asleep with so much going on, so our evening was cut short.

Friday Brandon had to work, but the rest of us still had fun.  We started the day by going to the mall.  Kylie loves the mall, she just likes to walk around the big halls and play on the little kiddie area.  So that is all we did:  follow her around!

Playing with Aunt Kelsey at Barnes and Noble.  She is very good at clapping.

Uncle Dallan had fun playing peek-a-boo with Kylie as well.

That evening we went out to dinner where we met Grandpa Pete, who also had come down for the weekend!  He had work to do, so we didn't see a lot of him over the weekend, but we still loved the time we spent together!  Later that night, after Kylie had crashed, Grandpa Gary also arrived to join the party!

A new way to play, and clean my floors!

The safest, and most fun, way to get Kylie through the parking lot!

Saturday was a busy day.  First we took our morning walk with Grandpa Pete and he got some fun shots of her.

This pose was all she wanted to do on the walk.

Saturday afternoon was the big football game, something that us ladies just aren't into.  So we went shopping!  Although, Kylie isn't big into the shopping, so we stopped at a park for her afterwards.

Saturday night we went over to Arizona (ten minute drive, haha!) and went shooting.  While the rest of us had fun shooting guns,

Kylie had fun playing in the motor home with Grandma Shari.  Lots to explore and even a little hole to peek out at the fun we were having outside.

Then we lit off a few fireworks, and Uncle Dallan had one that you could hold while it shot sparks into the sky (Roman Candles), so Kylie was able to hold one with me.  I don't think she much enjoyed it, and she especially didn't enjoy it when we brought out the firecrackers.

Sunday morning was the last we had to spend with everyone.  The Knudsen's stayed and went to church with us, but Grandpa Pete had to leave earlier.

But before he left he was nice enough to take some family pictures for us!

Now that everyone has left, our house is nice and quiet, but we already miss having so many people around to play with us.  Thanks to Grandma Shari for being the unofficial photographer this week (she's always camera-ready), as well to Grandpa Pete for the other half of the photos this week!

Oh, and just to let you know, our cat Charlie was not ignored.  He got plenty of attention, too.  Even if it was probably not the kind he wanted.
