Friends

One thing Kylie loves is making friends.  She is so social and if she sees a child she will not hesitate to go say hello.  This is how I meet most of the people in our neighborhood, which I am very grateful for.  It is not easy to get me out of my box, but with Kylie I have no choice!

On Saturday Kylie was invited to one of her friends birthday party.  She had an absolute blast!  Her friend, Kendall, was turning one, and her mom Josie had planned the best kids party ever.  So many toys!  And so many kids to play with!  Josie took some pictures that I am going to borrow :)

Kylie did play with other kids, but you know at this age they don't really "play" together.

Kendall opening Kylie's present to her!

Apparently Kendall loved our present so much that she didn't let go of it for awhile...

I really love the social side of Kylie.  It is so funny to watch how she interacts with other kids and try to imitate them.

And of course, there is her fuzzy friend at home:

Kylie still likes to try new foods.  Though, she won't really try them in her high chair.  She is getting pickier and pickier during meal-times.  But during snack times she will try most anything.  Even Brandon's wasabi peas.  Luckily she will eat healthy snacks to make up for her lack of eating at meals, like raisins, fruit, and granola.

  1. Becoming (and being) a picky eater is my life right now too! It is like they turn 15 months old and they decide that they don't like or want what they've been getting for the past 6 months! Just grin and bear it! I've turned to lots of noodles, chicken nuggets, and corn. Those hardly ever get the heave ho' from the high chair! Kylie is so cute.
