Happy Birthday!

This week started off like any other week.  Basically just playing all day long!

Then, on Thursday, Kylie turned one!!  Although, we didn't do much on her birthday.  We waited until Friday, when Grandma Tess and Uncle Tommy came and then we had a little birthday party for her.  She had fun opening presents and eating her birthday cup-cake.

Then, on Saturday morning we started our big trip to California!!  We spent the entire day in the car driving from St. George to Monterey Bay.  Kylie did fairly well in the car, but she only slept about 3-4 hours the whole trip.  And even though we got to our hotel so late she was so excited to be in a new place and just wanted to explore. It took a lot of convincing to get her to sleep at midnight.  (One AM our normal time!!)

I can already tell this is going to be a trip of very little sleep.

On Sunday and Monday we went to the beach.  I loved seeing Kylie's face as she saw the ocean.  It was priceless.

And due to CRAZY slow load times at our hotel (it took an hour to load that one video above), and and CRAZY tired baby who is having issues with sleeping this vacation, I will have to cut this post short. But I will make up for it this coming week!
