Mellow

This week was a nice and warm week to play outside!  That is one thing Kylie just loves to do: go outside and eat rocks, and plants, and even poop.  Well, almost poop.  Yay for a hovering mother!  Kylie is still good at climbing all over everything.  She spends half the day with her feet off the floor just climbing all over chairs and tables.

Something that I find really cute is that Kylie likes to get on our bed and then step onto the nightstand, turn on the radio, then sit on the radio and listen.  Usually she just chills there, but when I got a video of it, she did something unexpected at the end...

Kylie is also growing up!  After her bath every night we brush her teeth, and lately she has been doing it all by herself!  In fact, if I try to brush her teeth anymore, she won't even open her mouth.  Kylie loves to brush her teeth because she also likes to play with the faucet.

On Saturday night Kylie woke up several times during the night, and was burning hot.  Sunday morning she was still running a fever which she kept throughout the day.  It never broke 100, thank goodness, but you could tell she was sick.  She ate a little at breakfast, but then the rest of the day she just wanted to cuddle, sleep and drink juice.  I was sad to have a sick little baby, but I have to say I sure enjoyed such a nice calm day.  By 8 PM, though, Kylie was up and hungry.  She was still running a slight fever, but it was nice to see her acting like herself again.  We even had fun skyping with both grandparents that night.  When she finally went to bed it was past my bedtime.  Monday she was as good as new, although she did want to keep the late bedtime.  Umm.. I don't think so.
