Though she won't keep her hat on very long. She loves keeping her head bare. Maybe that is why her hair is coming in so slowly? Hahaha! Every time I want to dress her up in a headband, it is usually off within 20 seconds. Unless I can quickly distract her enough that she forgets it is on her head. Which doesn't happen very often.
Kylie is still having some trouble sleeping (she wakes up once a night), but that may be due to teething. She has at least three of her canine's still making their way up. But I have been managing to push her naps back so that she sleeps most of the early afternoon (3 hours usually!!!!). For some reason she still cannot abide to be alone with Brandon, though I really should state that: She really can't abide it when I leave her. Even if I just leave the room. Apparently when I do that it is a punishment for both daughter and father! But this weekend we had a babysitting swap with my neighbor, and with how she's been acting I was really worried that it wouldn't go over well. But she did just fine! It probably helped that she had a child to play with her, and it was so nice to go and have a date with Brandon .
This weekend I tried to set up Christmas in our house (earlier than I normally do, mostly because we will be spending half of December visiting family). Kylie was a good little Christmas elf and helped get everything out of boxes, helped break up the tinsel, and take off every decoration that I put up on the tree. Sigh. I kinda sensed it would be like this, so I will just have to make-do with a tree that has only it's top branches decorated. But we do have several kid ornaments that Kylie and I play with on the bottom branches of the tree so she isn't totally left out. Though I know right now that there is no way we can set out presents beneath the tree unless they are ready to be opened!
One week from today and we will be in St. George. I am so excited. You and Brandon will have to plan a date night while Grandma is there to tend. Can't wait to see you all.
