Sick Days

Well this week has been not so fun.  Everyone decided to get sick.  First it was Brandon and Kylie, and then when they were feeling better, I succumbed.  Kylie didn't even act sick, despite the fact that she had a fever over 100.  She still ran around and played.  She did take more naps, which was good, but when she was up, she was ready for action!  When she was sick, though, she couldn't get enough of Brandon.  She just wanted to hang out with her Daddy and do whatever he was doing.

Earlier this week Brandon brought me some flowers, and for some reason or another Kylie decided that they were for her to play with.  If she saw them, all she would do is stand by them and whine until she got one.  And that is where I made my mistake, because when I gave in once, there was no going back.  Eventually I had to hide my pretty bouquet in some obscure corner with something in front of it.

This week Kylie also learned how to climb onto my computer chair, and her rocking chair.  She was so proud doing something new.  And now she can climb up and bang on my keyboard as much as she wants...

While I was sick Brandon was was a big help with Kylie.  Once, though, he got her up early from a nap ( I always tell him that if she wakes up crying, she's not done napping.. but he seems to always forget that), so he sat her on the couch and put on one of her favorite shows (Timmy Time) and was amazed at how long she just sat at watched because of how tired she still was.  

Now it seems that we are all on the road to recovery, so hopefully this next week will be more fun!
