Play Time!

So Brandon and I loved going swimming with Kylie so much last week, that we decided to go again this past Saturday.  Once again, Kylie loved it - or at least she didn't cry!  I think we will be going swimming a lot more now.

Now that Brandon has heard that the doctor okay'd Kylie starting rice or oatmeal cereal (which we haven't started yet), he thinks that that is the go-ahead to let her try anything.  Uhh...  So he now tries to put anything in her mouth.  Oh great.  Here she is enjoying celery.

Brandon knows that I kinda freak out about her eating food yet, so I tend to hear about her little "taste adventures" after the fact.  Like the eggnog.  And a carrot.  I think Brandon will take to feeding Kylie her rice cereal with enthusiasm, since apparently he really likes putting food in her mouth...

So this week I decided to take some advice from Aunt Kendra, and introduce all of Kylie's toys.  She loves toys now and constantly has to have something in her hands or mouth.  She has a favorite toy for wherever she is.  Oh, and I have a weird need to name all her toys, just FYI...

In her crib she enjoys Minnie Mouse the most.

In her jumper she likes to chew on Button's legs.

On the floor her favorite is Sprinkles.  She can soak this little butterfly all the way through with her slobber in 20 minutes flat.

So when Sprinkles is in the wash, she opts for her rattle.

In her chair she likes this teether.  Since there is no face, I feel no need to name this toy, thank goodness!

Stella is her little dinosaur that she likes the most on car rides.  The head is the tastiest part.

And Mr. Blueberry she will love anywhere.  He's one of her most favorite.

And if nothing else is available, there is always her trusty toes.  They come with her wherever she goes!

So now you see how much Kylie likes to play.  She is also doing better with her rolling over.  She is a master at the back to tummy roll, and this past week she has been doing the tummy to back roll even more and more every day.  Soon I will have a little roller and will need to start baby-proofing the house!  Yay!
