A Family Visit

This past weekend was a weekend we've been looking forward to for a long time.  It's been over two months since we saw any family (seeing Uncle Tommy for 20 minutes last week doesn't count), so we were very excited when Gramps and Grandma Shari could make it down for the weekend, along with Uncle Jordan, Aunt Kendra and Aunt Kelsey!

They had so much fun with Kylie and seeing how much she has grown.  They took her Friday night so Brandon and I could go out on a date.  This was a very nerve wracking experience for me... as I explained it to Brandon it was like cutting off one of my limbs.  I am growing into a worry-wart mommy!  But everything was fine and we came home to a sleeping baby and happy grandparents.

On Saturday we went sight-seeing and swimming at the Washington rec center.  Kylie loved swimming!  At first she was cautious, and uncertain of all the loud, echoing noises and splashes.  But eventually she was having lots of fun and we all had fun passing her to and from everybody.  Now I just want to take her swimming every day!

Sunday we visited and went to visit the temple grounds.  We really enjoyed them taking the time to come visit and play with us!  We waited so long and the visit was so short!

Kylie is sure loving her new bouncer.  But she plays the best if she has an audience.

We are also getting her to laugh a little more.  I am surprised that she laughed for Grandma Shari, but so happy that she got to hear it!  Hopefully here soon she will be laughing all the time!
